The ISM Navigation Auditor course provides a comprehensive understanding of the skills, traits, and expertise required to effectively audit navigation practices in accordance with the International Safety Management (ISM) Code and the OCIMF’s Management and Self-Assessment (TMSA / OVMSA) guidelines. The course delves into modern navigation best practices, highlighting the principles and techniques essential for evaluating a vessel’s adherence to established safety and operational standards.
Participants will learn how to systematically gather evidence of compliance through practical methods such as document reviews, direct observations, and crew interviews.
